Kyrio · Family subscription tracker

Family subscription tracker — every streaming, SaaS, and box subscription in one place

The average family pays for 12 active subscriptions and remembers 5. Kyrio is the family subscription tracker that keeps the full list in one place — streaming, SaaS, Spotify, HelloFresh, the kid’s weird learning app — with renewal dates and cancel links. No bank access required.

  • One list of every family subscription, manually entered or imported
  • Renewal alerts before the annual charge lands
  • Split per member so you know whose subscription is whose
  • Free on iOS and Android — no bank login required

Kyrio family subscription tracker with renewal dates

Actually know what you’re paying for

Most subscription-tracker apps (Rocket Money, Bobby, Subby) are built around bank integration — they read your statements and auto-detect recurring charges. That works, but it also means handing your bank login to a third-party aggregator. For families who don’t want to do that, Kyrio lets you enter subscriptions by hand and keep them in one shared list.

Entry is fast — name, amount, renewal date, which member. Most households have their list complete in 15 minutes of a Sunday evening and save real money the first month they use it.

Renewal alerts before annual charges sting

Annual subscriptions are where most families leak money — you bought them last year and then forgot. Kyrio sends a renewal reminder 14 days before an annual charge and 2 days before a monthly one. Enough time to cancel if you want to, not so much that you’ll forget again.

Every subscription row has a “cancel” link that goes straight to the service’s real cancel URL — not a help article — so you’re one tap from ending the subscription you meant to end six months ago.

Know whose subscription is whose

In a two-parent household with two or three kids, it’s often unclear which parent owns which subscription. Kyrio lets you tag each subscription to a family member so the Spotify family plan is clearly one parent’s, the kid’s piano-practice app is clearly the kid’s, and the stray “unknown $12 charge” has an owner.

Pair with the full Kyrio organizer and you get the same single-family-surface treatment for subscriptions as for chores, calendar, and lists.

No bank login, no Plaid, no data broker

Rocket Money can find your subscriptions for you — by reading your bank statements via Plaid. For a lot of families that’s a reasonable trade. For families who don’t want their bank data in another vendor’s hands, Kyrio is the manual alternative that still does the useful part: remembering the renewal dates so you don’t pay for a year of something you stopped using in March.

Optional import-from-email (Gmail only, with explicit opt-in) is on the roadmap for people who want auto-detection without the bank piece. Not shipped yet — but nothing you enter manually will ever go elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Is this free?
Yes. Unlimited subscriptions, unlimited family members, renewal alerts, and cancel links — all free on iOS and Android.
Does it connect to my bank to auto-detect?
No. Intentionally. Rocket Money and Bobby use bank-aggregator APIs to auto-detect subscriptions, which works but gives them access to all your transactions. Kyrio is the manual alternative. Most families find the 15-minute setup is worth it compared to the privacy trade.
How do the renewal alerts work?
Push notifications on iOS and Android. 14 days before an annual renewal, 2 days before monthly. Alerts include the amount, the date, and a one-tap cancel link if you want to end it.
Can each family member see and manage their own?
Yes. Each subscription is tagged to a member. Adults see the full list; kids see only what’s theirs (useful when a teenager has their own Spotify account they pay for).
Is this the same as AnyList or Cozi?
No. Neither of those has a subscription tracker. This is a Kyrio-specific feature, part of the whole-family surface — see the full app comparison in our buyer’s guide linked below.
What if I cancel a subscription — does the tracker remember?
Yes. Cancelled subscriptions move to a “cancelled” section so you keep a record of what you used to pay for. Useful for tax or reimbursement purposes, and for noticing when you’re about to sign up for the same service a second time.
Can I tag shared subscriptions?
Yes. A family Netflix plan can be tagged to the whole household rather than a single member. The tracker keeps totals per-member and household-wide so you can see where the money goes.
